The Maya Forest has faced significant destruction over the last 20 years. Communities are eager to restore their lands and make them profitable again. This project combines sustainable agriculture, silvopasture, agroforestry, and ecological restoration. Taking place on community owned lands in Southern Mexico, it will restore areas deforested by the construction of the Mayan train. The project will provide sustainable economic opportunities to Mayan communities struggling to earn a living from their land.
